In4Green is a collaborative network of industrial cities across Europe. All the cities have a common commitment to be bearers of change within European industry. We want to aim for a greener and more sustainable future of the industry.
The In4Green project started in June 2023 and will end at the end of 2025. During this period, meetings are being held to exchange knowledge and good practices in all partner cities, including:
Avilés - Spain
Promoció Econòmica de Sabadell - Spain
Vila Nova de Famalicao - Portugal
Dabrowa Gornicza - Poland
Larissa - Greece
Žďár nad Sázavou - Czech Republic
Neue Effizienz GmbH / City of Solingen - Germany
Bijelo Polje - Montenegro
Navan - Ireland
Like all partner cities, we benefit from our collective expertise and experience. Furthermore, we offer our point of view to the network through our acquired and consolidated knowledge. This will ensure growth and greater development for both our own and the other cities in the network.
Some of the initiatives in which we are actively participating are:
- Meetings and workshops: Cities can organise meetings and workshops to share their experiences, challenges and successes. These events can be physical or virtual, depending on circumstances.
- Publications and reports: Cities can document and publish their experiences in the form of reports, case studies and articles. These materials can be shared with other cities and the public through various channels, such as websites, newsletters and social media.
- Networking platforms: cities can use networking platforms such as URBACT to share their experiences and learning. These platforms provide opportunities for interaction and collaboration between cities.
- Mutual learning events: Cities can participate in mutual learning events where they can present their projects, discuss challenges and share solutions they have found.
- Study visits: cities can organise study visits to allow other cities to see their projects and initiatives up close.
Until the end of 2025, therefore, Salerno and the other nine cities forming the URBACT In4Green network will work together to develop local solutions to the challenges of the green transition.
